In Search Of… Bigfoot (Part 1 of 3) Nimoy

Season 1, Episode 5 (4/28/1977) Part 1 of 3 This episode investigates the Native American Legend of Bigfoot or "Sasquatch" as the Native Americans call it. A large, hairy beast, resembling a man. Scientists and Cryptozoologist discuss the possibility that this creature may inhabit the thousands of square miles of uninhabited timberland in the American Northwest. The legend of Bigfoot dates back may centuries and sightings have been reported continuously since before the white man came to this region of America and they continue today. Archival footage of a suspected Bigfoot is shown and discussed with both witnesses and scientists evaluating the film.

    @joeyvader several primate scientists,american,grover krantz,russian,confirmed that the patterson vid was an unknown primate.it weighed more than 300-600 lbs.

    @zazozung Yes…do you find it odd that he waited 34 years to come forward? There’s a visible zipper? Realy?  Watch ap Bigfoot on youtube and listen to what THE best creature designers have to say about the suit…they find NO ‘zipper’ at all…after looking at the footage and putting it under the closest scrutiny ever, they can give NO proof that it’s a suit…

    I never missed this show when I was a kid in the 70′s. The episodes on Bigfoot, UFOs, The Bermuda Triangle and the Loch Ness Monster were so creepy. Even the Amelia Earhardt episode was scary. Great show.

    @MatthewKarns123 Wow. I’m glad you said that Matthew…cause it scared me silly as a kid in the 70s..but i love it all the same. Leonard Nimoy’s voice is brilliant!!

    I loved it when it at least seemed to me that Bigfoot might exist, back when I was a kid and I watched these shows (even though I don’t believe anymore, I still love watching these shows.)

    @zazozung he stated that due to riducule. In modern tecnology, like I said has proven it’s 7’6 tall and costume makers probably cant make a costume look that real. The zipper idea was thrown out long ago. Saying that I dont claim it either way. Science states this is the best prove and it cannot be ruled as a hoax. maybe you havent seen the NATGEO case/show on this subject !

    @bryanbish2000 The guy in the suit came forward and admitted that it was all a set up. And “modern technology” has the zipper in the back of the suit visible. Sorry, the film is a hoax.

    @zazozung NOT ! Todays technology has proven the creature to be 7’6. And its very muscular. Costumes makers today stated they would have trouble if not impossible to make a costume look that real !!!
